To retain the high efficiency at low temperatures, the outdoor section of the system must be defrosted. The ari heat pump’s defrosting is automatic and demand controlled. It is only activated when it is needed and only for as long as necessary, which minimises the energy consumption required to keep the outdoor section of the system free of ice.
